As we start 2026, we want to be transparent about the kind of company we’re building.

We’re not interested in building a business that grows by underpaying people, overloading staff, or hiding the human cost behind “competitive pricing.”

Right now, as a small and growing company, we are still working toward offering livable wages and benefits like health insurance. We’re honest about that — and we’re also very intentional about where we are going.

Our long-term goals are:
• Livable, sustainable pay
• Real benefits, not just perks
• Reasonable workloads and clear boundaries
• A business model that supports people, not just profit

We believe this creates better outcomes for everyone — for our team, for our clients, and for the long-term health of the business.

We’re building slowly, thoughtfully, and deliberately so that when we grow, we grow well.

If you’re someone who values transparency, fairness, and sustainability in the businesses you work with — we’d love to work with you.

If you’re curious about what that looks like in practice, we’re always open to conversations.

Did you know?

Quick heads up about a USPS change that could affect deadlines!

USPS quietly changed how postmark dates work as of Dec 24, 2025 — and it’s something worth knowing if you ever mail things with a deadline attached.

Now, the postmark reflects when your mail is first processed by USPS, not necessarily the day you drop it off. So if you mail something close to a cutoff date (tax payments, legal filings, donations, ballots, etc.), it could end up being postmarked later than you expect.

The simple fix: if timing matters, take your mail to the counter and ask for a manual postmark or proof of mailing.

Just wanted to share in case it saves someone a headache later.

If you have questions about how this might affect your business or filings, visit us at https://www.villageandvine.biz/ or send us a message — we’re happy to help.
