Did you know?

Quick heads up about a USPS change that could affect deadlines!

USPS quietly changed how postmark dates work as of Dec 24, 2025 — and it’s something worth knowing if you ever mail things with a deadline attached.

Now, the postmark reflects when your mail is first processed by USPS, not necessarily the day you drop it off. So if you mail something close to a cutoff date (tax payments, legal filings, donations, ballots, etc.), it could end up being postmarked later than you expect.

The simple fix: if timing matters, take your mail to the counter and ask for a manual postmark or proof of mailing.

Just wanted to share in case it saves someone a headache later.

In case there is any doubt about where I stand on these issues…..

I believe the victims of Jeffrey Epstein.

They are daughters, unprotected by a system that has always protected the predators among us.

I will always believe the victims of sexual violence.

There is no excuse for this. No rational to be made for any of their behaviors. Prosecute them ALL. Punish them ALL.

Late January PSA: Payroll providers and processors have until January 31 to put your W-2 in the mail.

Calling to inquire about that only delays the processes and pushes the mailing closer and closer to that date.

Want you W-2 early? Opt-in for electronic delivery. Every one of my electronic payroll clients were done by January 15.

Do you have a web portal to view your paystubs? Check it. Chances are your W-2 is already out there so there is no need to wait on the mail.
