I will be attending the national Farm Financial Standards Council (FFSC) conference in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina this coming Wednesday-Friday. Janice is going with me and we are turning it into a 2-week convertible trip.

I drafted two 2019 farm FINFLO cash flows this past week on differing crop farms. At available prices for next year we lose $65/acre in real money/equity in 2019 This is with no capital purchases and modest rent reductions from 2018. These still have to be negotiated or the losses will be greater.

The FFSC (Farm Financial Standards Council) conference in Syracuse focused this year on Farm Estate and Transition Planning and Dairy Business Management. New York is still a leading dairy state.

I just returned from the Farm Financial Standards Conference in Syracuse, NY. I learned a lot at this conference as it is attended by about 70 ag lenders, farmers, farm accountants & analysts, ag. economists, and others interested in improving the completeness and accuracy of farm financial reporting
