Just to let you know how the media and government are LIEING to us again: The Penalty for NOT having insurance is NOT gone for Tax Years 2017 and 2018!!!! It doesn't start until 2019 tax year! Therefore....... IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE in 2017 or in 2018..... YOU WILL PAY THE PENALTY! Just an FYI!!! Don't shoot the messenger please!

IF YOU GET A PHONE CALL FROM: 202-800-8433 .......it is a SCAM. DON'T ANSWER AT ALL. They pretend to be THE IRS. THE IRS NEVER CALLS YOU AS TAXPAYERS. NEVER!! THEY WRITE LETTERS TO YOU FIRST AND WAIT FOR YOU TO CALL THEM! THEY NEVER EVER CALL YOU!!! DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

Tax Season is off to a slow start this year.. thankfully. Sadly I've had a few dear sweet clients pass away last year which totally breaks my heart, because I think of them as part of my family! So please pray for their spouses and family members.... it's difficult to deal with taxes when they are grieving! Compassion is priority in My office!
