𝙃𝒆𝙧𝒆’𝒔 𝒕𝙝𝒆 𝒔𝙩𝒐𝙧𝒚 𝒃𝙚𝒉𝙞𝒏𝙙 𝙩𝒉𝙚 𝙣𝒆𝙬𝒔: the plan was to hire one Financial Planning Assistant. But during interviews, two candidates stood out—strong qualifications, great character, and a connection we felt would fit with our team dynamic. We literally couldn’t choose who not to hire… so we stretched and brought both on board!
Why it matters: this growth helps us continue delivering the concierge-level support our clients appreciate while building capacity to meet increasing demand.

𝐈𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬… 𝐔𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐈𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭
We’d just wrapped up an incredible week serving as small group leaders at MIX—a powerful experience for junior high students centered on faith, friendships, and personal growth. Jillian, our daughter, was part of my group, surrounded by her best friends. It was a week we’ll never forget.
But we weren’t prepared for the homecoming.
Tired but content, we stepped into our home—and onto wet floors in our kitchen.
And it got worse. As we investigated the carnage in our basement, our hearts sank.
Water rained from the ceiling into Jillian’s newly finished hangout room—a space she had helped plan and set up as a birthday gift. It was her dream room, down to the last detail. And now, it was being destroyed.
She stood in the doorway, silent at first. And then came the tears.💔 💔 💔 💔
All of it—ruined by a hose line behind the fridge. A hose that had quietly done its job for years… until the moment it didn’t.
It was gut-wrenching.
Not because of the hose. But because of what it took from someone we love.
And sadly, we’ve seen people blindsided in retirement the same way.
Not because their plan was bad. But because no one ever pointed out the hidden risks.
Because no one helped them ask the right questions—until it was too late.
That’s exactly why we believe so deeply in proactive, holistic planning.
Because we’ve seen what can happen when a million-dollar 401(k) doesn’t stretch far enough.
When inflation, taxes, or a market shift hits harder than expected.
When a financial surprise forces someone to change the retirement they worked their whole life for.
Now, it’s time to cast your daily vote to help decide the winners!

Our newest article will challenge the way you think about retirement planning…
It sounds counterintuitive, but planning for a retirement that lasts past 95—even if you don’t expect to live that long—is actually the key to a stronger, more secure retirement today.🗝️
Here’s the paradox: Many people aren’t worried about leaving behind a legacy. They want to enjoy life as much as possible between retirement and 85—but they also don’t want to run out of money.
Others can’t envision themselves living into their 90s, so they focus on a plan that only takes them so far.
The counter-intuitive approach to retirement planning for living past 85 that may bring both short and long-term rewards, security and peace of mind.
