Beta Alpha Psi Zeta Pi Chapter-ODU

Beta Alpha Psi Zeta Pi Chapter-ODU BETA ALPHA PSI is an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals. Individual chapters may establish higher admission criteria.

The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. Membership in Beta Alpha Psi includes those persons of good moral character who have achieved scholastic and/or professional excellence in the fields of accounting, finance, or information systems, who have been initiated by an existing chapter a

nd who remain in good standing. Minimum scholastic requirements for undergraduate membership are set forth in the by-laws. Graduate student initiates must have been accepted and matriculated into a masters degree level program.

A recap from the Beta Alpha Psi annual meeting in Orlando Florida. We got to hear from some great speakers including a gold medalist in the Paralympics Brad Snyder and his dog Mr. T! Also a special thanks to author and previous managing partner of KPMG’s Philadelphia branch Jerry Maginnis who gave out free copies of his book “Advice for a Successful Career in the Accounting Profession.” Whether volunteering with local boys and girls clubs for community impact day or listening to insightful seminars from professionals in the field there was never a dull moment. Thanks to all the firms and companies who sponsored the event and made this possible.
