Hometown Tax Service will be closed Thursday February 3rd at 3:00 pm and all day February 4th due to weather conditions. I want our clients and employees to be safe! If there's are any other changes I will post.
I will also note closures on channel 27 and 18.

Just want to let my clients know that for the 2021 tax season anyone who received advance child tax credit june-dec or any partial amount you will receive form 6419 the IRS is supposed to be mailing these out jan 2022. We will need this form to reflect on your tax return. Please look for this and bring in when filing your tax returns. Do not throw away!!

I advise people opt out of the ADVANCE child tax credit! Understand every family situation is different and it may not hurt your tax liability.

Guys we are preparing tax returns now! I get contant calls that they say the IRS is not doing tax returns until Feb 12th. They are not accepting returns until the 12th, but we are preparing and transmitting. Please don't wait.
