Last Friday felt a lot like a train wreck. After many weeks of almost straight up, somebody turned off the hot water. This provides me the opportunity to take a step back, look at what has been going on and evaluate if what is necessary for a continuation of the advance still exists.

This requires some study into the manufacturing and labor aspects of the economy. In this week’s note, I will go over these issues, where the market is and then finish with what I feel is greatly overlooked yet immensely important: the vast amount of cash on the sidelines.
