Why adding 1095-A can reduce a refund:

When you get health insurance through the Marketplace, the government often pays part of your premium in advance based on estimated income.

At tax time, we must reconcile that amount.
If income went up and wasn’t updated, some of that credit has to be repaid because you basically received more help than what you qualified for.

This is not a mistake.
This is not optional.
This is not negotiable.

Marketplace Insurance Reminder:

If you had Marketplace health insurance, your 1095A forms may not be in the mail yet… BUT you don’t have to wait to file your taxes.

Call Marketplace directly at 800-318-2596 and ask them to provide the amounts from Boxes A, B, and C for January–December 2025.

Same coverage all year? You’ll only need three numbers.

Coverage changed or wasn’t active all year? You’ll need to verify each covered month along with the Box A, B, and C amounts.

Having this information ready helps avoid delays, rejections and keeps your return moving smoothly.

🔹Upgraded our software to make signing documents and accessing client portals run more smoothly.
🔹implemented a CRM to manage workflows and decrease processing times.
🔹implemented email and sms campaigns to keep you informed from client intake until you’re funded.
🔹More in office availability.
🔹Currently in the process of hiring assistants to offer a better and improved customer service experience with decreased response times.
🔹Offering bundle deals for new services that will allow you to pay with your tax refund.
🔹Changed our fee structure from flat fee to form based so that you only pay for the forms you need.
