Advanced Child Tax Credit Information - You may have received a letter(s) about the advanced child tax credit the IRS will be starting to pay out on 7/15/21. This is an advance of the credit you will receive on your 2021 tax return. For some clients this could create an amount due balance instead of a refund. If you wish to opt out of this credit you can go to the irs.gov website. If you are married - both spouses have to opt out of the advance. Please let us know if you have any questions.
