Late December 26th, the 5th Circuit Court reversed the December 23rd ruling that had reinstated the BOI filing requirements. Again now it is strictly voluntary if an LLC or corporations wants to file the BOI report with FinCen.
This is ridiculous stay tuned for any other court rulings on this.

Late on December 23,2024 the 5Th Circuit Court of Appeals removed the nationwide injunction against filing the BOI Report. This was for all LLCs and corporations. What this means is that once again the reporting requirements are back on, immediately. FinCen did delay the reporting due date until January 13,2025. BOI is beneficial owner information.
