After tax season office hours will be Monday- Thursday 9 am to 4 pm. If you would like to meet outside of the new posted hours please call 354-8297.

The last two years the tax day has been extended- not this year. Your tax returns are due APRIL 18. Because of Easter being the same weekend, I have chosen to use the 4/15 deadline. So that means if you haven’t brought your taxes in - please do very soon. We have had some personal and staffing changes in the office and that has created a delay. I thank you all for your patience. We will call you if we are missing something and when they are ready for pick up. Thank you all!!!

If you are dropping off your taxes there is no need to schedule an appointment- please drop off inside the office Monday- Friday 9 am- 5 pm or feel free to drop them in the secure big red box on the south side of the building any time.

Good morning from Valley View! Just a quick summary for you regarding Covid-19 and your taxes. (Please keep in mind this information has been changing rapidly) Valley View book and Tax remains OPEN. I do ask that if you have been exposed to people who have not felt well- or you do not feel well- PLEASE do not come in. The latest information I have received is that tax filing deadline remains APRIL 15. But, if you owe taxes, you will have a 90day automatic extension to pay. (July 15) without interest or penalty. But you MUST file your taxes by April 15. This 90 day grace period will not be applied to those who extend their returns. In the next week - please look for the bright red drop box outside of the office. Please call 320-354-8297 if you have any questions or need help getting your taxes filed by 4-15. While the world and community are in the middle of fear and uncertainty- take a moment to be nice to somebody and for goodness sakes- wash your hands!
