BRI Champion We help you sleep peacefully at night by guiding you through life's major events with personalized solutions to meet your specific needs.

I have over 20 years of financial services experience with various financial institutions. Prior to venturing out as entrepreneur and business owner, I had a very successful career with several well-known institutions in the financial sector. I obtained the titles of Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President/Regional Business Director and had the pleasure of working side-by-side with some

of the most successful financial advisors in the industry. From years of working with highly successful individuals in the financial sector and the business community as a whole I bring a variety of experience and expertise to my clients. A native of Springfield, MA, I currently reside in Durham, NC with my wife and our blended family. Family is my highest priority, but when I’m not spending time with family, you can find me working with numerous churches, acting as amateur chef, and attempting to perfect my often-flawed golf game. I look forward to interacting with you, whether you’re a client or need assistance connecting with other professionals.

Nola Kulig is elegant, knowledgeable and experienced both as an advisor but also for the advocacy of women in financial services. This independent advisor in Longmeadow, Massachusetts is a Certified Financial Advisor and a Chartered Financial Analyst. In that regard, amongst the first to be so well versed. Our conversation was collegial and thorough. We were learning life lessons like sitting in an advanced business or philosophy class.

Prior to beginning her advisory practice in 2012, Nola managed Kulig Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm for high net worth individuals and family wealth offices. Her previous experience includes being a senior consultant at Blue Heron Consulting, a boutique management consulting firm to investment management organizations, consulting on roughly $1 trillion in assets.

Before joining Blue Heron in 2000, she was part of the senior management of Russell Investment Group, then the country's leading pension consulting firm and manager of over $100 billion in investments. Nola served most recently at Russell as portfolio manager with direct responsibility for $3 billion of assets. Nola was also a senior investment strategist, a member of Russell's Index Policy Committee and a consultant to Fortune 500 pension funds.

It is not often that we Marine Corp diesel mechanic and CDL Long Haul truck driver as part of the journey in financial services. If fact, we have never heard of that. With the CB handle “Lamb Chop”, Jessica Lamb went from the trucking company owner to President of her own independent financial planning practice.

While helping anyone that needs sound financial advice, Jessica emphasizes that women have a financial voice and need to be heard. She views herself as more of a coach than an advisor. In her own words, she strives to educate, encourage, inspire, and ignite…
She’s honest, no-nonsense, straightforward forward, and beloved by her peers and clients. Her care is genuine. Jessica is more than a marine, diesel mechanic, business owner, truck driver, and financial planner. She’s an advocate for humanity, and her mission is tremendous service.

It's faith Friday!

There are times when we need to talk a faith walk not only in our personal lives but in our business lives as well. Taking a faith walk means trusting and following God’s path, even when it may not make sense. It may be challenging to take this approach in business since it requires a certain amount of risk and an understanding that the outcome is not always predictable. But taking a faith walk can bring great rewards – both spiritually and financially.

We can take a faith walk by being open to possibilities that may come our way. We can look for opportunities to do business in ways we haven’t tried before, and we can lean on our faith when making difficult decisions. We should remain humble and remember that God is always with us, guiding us in the right direction.

We can all be comforted knowing that He wants what is best for us and our business.

By taking a faith walk in our business, we can also remain faithful to the purpose of why we created it in the first place. We can focus on creating something worthwhile and meaningful rather than just trying to make money. This will help us look at our business in a new light and motivate us to keep going, even when times are tough.

By trusting God’s path and remaining faithful to our purpose, we can find success in our business endeavors. With faith, anything is possible. Taking a faith walk in business is a great way to honor God and come closer to Him. It can provide us with peace, strength, and guidance when making decisions.

So the next time you feel like you’re stuck in a rut, take a faith walk and trust that God will lead the way!

Christians have a responsibility to invest wisely, to be generous with their resources, and to use the tools God has given them for His glory. As Christians, we must recognize that it is not just about making money, but rather about stewardship of our resources. We should strive to manage our finances in a way that honors God and uses the gifts He has provided us. This includes budgeting, investing, giving, and saving responsibly.

An investing concept Christians should consider is Biblically Responsible Investing. This form of investing takes the principles of Scripture and applies them to investments. It seeks to invest in companies that are doing good, and whose actions are consistent with Biblical principles. This type of investing carries greater moral implications than other forms of investment because it creates an impact on society by rewarding businesses that are making ethical decisions and avoiding those which do not adhere to Biblical principles.

We must not forget that God does not just call us to invest wisely; He also calls us to be generous with our resources. As we give back, we are reminded of all of God's blessings and we can be an example to others of how to use our resources for good.

Ultimately, all the money we have is a gift from God, and it is up to us to use it in ways that bring glory to Him. By taking seriously our responsibility as stewards of God's resources, we can show the world how He wants us to use our wealth. From budgeting and saving wisely, to investing responsibly and being generous with our resources, we should strive to honor God with the money He has blessed us with.

Nikki Gajoo joined us from South Africa. She brought with her a refined professionalism that was very refreshing.

Nikki started in a graduate recruitment program at one of the four top banks in Johannesburg. She completed her intense training and was selected to join the private bank. That banking career exposed her to the world of financial planning.

She faced some of the same challenges that many minority women encounter here in the States. In addition, she entered the industry when Apartheid had just ended, and a brand-new democracy was being formed. Nikki shared some frustrating stories where qualifications, experience, and intellect were ignored, and judgments were made on outward appearances. To be blunt, some meetings were halted at the sight of her.

Born in the province of Kwazulu-Natal in a small town called New Castle, her choices upon graduating (Primary) high school were marriage or working in New Castle. Nikki bucked that trend by attending University and finding her passion in finance. That passion was born from personal experience after a family tragedy changed her family’s financial dynamic.

Nikki is courageous, resourceful, and diligent. She navigates her country’s politics and our industry in a manner that is gracious and charismatic. Do not mistake her kindness for weakness!
