Are you a detail-driven payroll professional with a strong background in multi-company payroll and bookkeeping? We’re looking for an experienced Payroll/Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team!

✅ Requirements:
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including handling multiple companies and unique payroll situations
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop for both payroll and bookkeeping
• Experience with EFTPS, MTA, and DWD
• Skilled in preparation of federal, state, and state unemployment tax deposits
• Proficient in preparing quarterly and year-end payroll reports, including:
– Personal use of auto
– S-corp shareholder health insurance
– Retirement plans
• Familiar with Wisconsin sales tax filing and rules, including:
– Item taxability
– Interstate rules
– Manufacturing and ag exceptions
• Solid bookkeeping skills:
– Bank and credit card reconciliations
– Monthly, quarterly, and year-end workpapers tied to tax prep
• Ability to review and respond to IRS, WDR, and DWD payroll/tax notices
• Sage experience is a bonus!

1. There is no ‘Department of Employee Retention Credit’
2. Looks an awful lot like an IRS notice doesn’t it? It even says ‘Accelerate Tax Notice’.
3. They make it look like you could be having a ‘quarterly loss’, which is really what you needed to get the credit
4. They don’t put in any of the qualifications that you’d need to claim the credit.
