For those clients that have payroll, there is the PPP-Paycheck Protection Program. This program essentially allows a business owner to apply for continued payroll for their employees (and owner) for two months. If the proceeds are used 75% for payroll, then this is forgiven. Most self-employed individuals are considered employees for this loan capped at $100,000 annually or $8,333.33 per month. You need to contact your bank to get enrolled into their program and there are many documents that you need to put into their portal.
