Hey Y’all! I’m almost done with the ReFURRM App 🎉

Here’s how I designed it:
1. The original owner can log that they want help saving their unit
(ideally before the auction, but not required)
2. The facility can log if buyers leave any personal items behind
3. The original owner gets notified through the app

🙌 This only works if everyone does their part, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction

I have been down to my last dollar too many times to count.
Not because I am bad with money.
Not because I am irresponsible.
Because my heart cashes checks my life cannot cover yet.

I have given, helped, trusted, loaned, rescued, supported, sacrificed, and stood up for people who would never do the same for me.
And every time I get knocked flat, I somehow claw my way back up.

I have lost my home, my savings, my belongings, my peace, my safety, and pieces of myself.
Every time I thought it could not get worse, it did.
And somehow I still rise like a pi**ed off phoenix in leopard fur.

I am not rich.
I am not spoiled.
I am not lucky.
I am a woman who refuses to stay broken, even when life keeps stealing the last dollar from my pocket.

I guess God knows the fight in me.
That is why He lets the fall happen.
