Good Morning✨ ***LONG POST***
I’ve been M.I.A…. I had to do a HARD RESET.
✨As woman we often pick up the super-woman cape and NEVER take it off- unless we’re forced to and I was.
✨I won’t bore you with the details but LIFE.
✨Anyhow, as a woman who will be bowing at the feet of 40 in June of course I’m reflecting on my journey thus-far.
I want to share a few of those reflections: Feel free to comment with some of your own. Have a great day!
😌 It’s not always about BEING the best!
But CONSISTENCY, DISCIPLINE, & SELF-CONTROL will you places skills won’t.
😌Listen to your gut.
😌Don’t let the fear of letting others down cause you to LET YOURSELF DOWN.
😌If he wants to commit, he will. PERIOD
You don’t have to go through pain,disrespect, and heartbreak to get to your happy ever after. 💍
😌Cry. . Call me I’ll cry with you- it does not mean that you’re weak.
😌Choose great friends. Friendships are a choice a bad friendship can be worse than a horrific breakup/relationship.
😌 Self care: Seek therapy, spa days, journey & take pictures (Even if you’re not a your “ideal weight” Time flies and memories fade. Be happy and whole.
😌Travel!✈️ It changes you for the better.
😌Failing is a part of the journey. (Don’t be afraid to fail) If you NEVER try you will NEVER know.
😌PHUCK what people think about your life- YOU have to live it and more times than not people are simply casting judgement at things they are afraid to do or simply don’t understand.
😌MOVE OUT OF STATE( You’ll see how strong and resilient you are)- if it doesn’t work go back home & move again.
😌Stay focused on YOUR dreams- don’t let anyone change your focus- time is something that you can’t get back.
😌Hire a mentor- you’re paying to skip the line and some of the mistakes in whatever you’re trying to achieve but first- do your research.
😌Start the business, invest, learn about money. If you have poor money skills no matter how much you make- you’ll never have any.
😌Whether you’re in your 20s, 30s, 40s or above. ..Its NEVER to late to create better habits or outline new BOUNDARIES. Be kind to yourself, life doesn’t come with a manual. We’re all just here tryna figure s**t out.
