Today is April 15th TAX DAY. This is the last day to put in an extension request. An extension request does not give you more time to pay but more time to file.

If you have completed returns at our office to sign we are in from 10am - 8pm today. We are closed for the rest of the week.

When your child turns 17 you lose the child tax credit. Today is a perfect day to send them out to earn money shoveling towards replacing that $1700 loss from that credit.

We are getting near the end of the month. If you need me to prepare any 1099's for your subcontractors, please drop off their information before the end of this week to ensure that they are mailed by the end of the month.

The IRS has just announced they will start accepting tax returns on January 26th. We can still file before that date if you have everything, it just may not get accepted until the 26th.
