⚠️Be careful! Social media tax tips should NEVER be blindly followed. There is currently inaccurate advice going around social media claiming that taxpayers can claim a refund of up to $32,000 through a non-existent tax credit called the “Self-Employment Tax Credit”. This is not a real IRS tax credit and is modeled from the Credits for Sick and Family Leave Credits which have very technical requirements and does not apply to 2023 returns. While these credits seem enticing, filing an incorrect claim can seriously hurt you. Always consult a trusted tax professional.

NJ Sales & Use Tax filings for Q2 are due on Monday, July 22📆 Every New Jersey business selling goods or services, regardless of sales, is required to fill out the ST-50 for Q2 (April-June). You can file at https://www.nj.gov/treasury/taxation/sales-use-filing.shtml! See below for tips and resources on how to file and complete the form!
