BIG NEWS FOR GALA HONOREES!

Talk about a Jersey-proud moment! Our 2026 Calais Foundation Gala Honorees — Michael Smith, Michelle Primiano, and the Salvaterra Family — were recognized by New Jersey state leadership for the incredible impact they’ve made on students with disabilities.

Each honoree received a personalized letter and a Joint Legislative Resolution from Senator Anthony Bucco and Assemblywoman Aura Dunn. This special recognition becomes part of New Jersey’s permanent public record and shines a light not only on their generosity and dedication, but on the importance of creating opportunities for every learner to thrive.

Last night, Nisivoccia was pleased to host our Third Annual APSSD Social, bringing together leaders, educators and members of New Jersey’s Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities community for an evening of connection and conversation.

It was wonderful to see familiar faces, meet new ones and spend time with professionals who are true pillars of this community. Their dedication makes a meaningful difference for students with disabilities and the schools that serve them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We are proud to continue supporting the APSSD community and providing opportunities for its members to come together and strengthen relationships across New Jersey.

This week, members of the Nisivoccia team had the opportunity to attend the ArcMorris 2026 Annual Awards Gala.

Anthony Rispoli, Laura Lampron, Daniel Shaw, Steven Cimino, Nic Rathkamp, Victoria Kosuda, Connor Young, Richard Lewis, and Dominic Prezioso joined fellow professionals and community members for an evening dedicated to recognizing individuals who have made a meaningful impact.

We are proud to support ArcMorris and its annual fundraising event, which helps provide programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Last week, Partner Kristin Anderson, CPA, PSA, was invited to join New Jersey Association of Special Education Partner Schools at its annual Special Education Day event.

The 2026 event brought together educators, families and students to celebrate the positive impact of special education in New Jersey and recognize the achievements of exceptional learners across the state.

Kristin also had the chance to spend time with Jimmy, a golden retriever therapy dog from Larc Norcross School, who brought plenty of smiles to the event.

It was a pleasure connecting with the dedicated educators, students and families who continue to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

As exhibitors and sponsors, the team connected with professionals across the APSSD community and participated in sessions focused on operational efficiency and management. We’re proud to support this important sector and the work being done to drive excellence across organizations.
