Hey everyone! Greg here from Ellis & Co Bookkeeping
I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and share a little bit about how I ended up where I am today.
I’m a U.S. Navy veteran, rental home owner, IT support professional, and bookkeeper/accountant, and each of those roles has shaped how I show up for the business owners I support.
During the Gulf War, I served as an Electronics Warfare Technician in the Navy. That experience taught me discipline, attention to detail, and how to stay calm and focused when things get challenging.
After the military, I spent 25 years in IT, starting as an entry-level tech and eventually moving into leadership. I’ve always enjoyed helping people make sense of complex systems and solving problems that others might find overwhelming.
About three years ago, I decided to shift gears and dive into accounting. Since then, I’ve worked for both a bookkeeping company and a CPA firm, gaining hands-on experience supporting small businesses with their financials. Alongside that, I also own and manage rental property, so I understand the day-to-day realities and financial responsibilities that come with running a business.
Now, I’ve pulled all of that experience together to launch Ellis & Co Bookkeeping, where I help small businesses get clarity and confidence in their numbers.
