Motor Vehicle Tax Credit information is now available on the WV State Tax Dept website mytaxes.wvtax.gov . You will need your personal property tax ticket number, your drivers license as well your Social Security Number. This credit is available even if you normally do not file taxes as long as you paid your personal property taxes on time.

A new federal filing requirement went into effect at the start of 2024, requiring most business owners to submit a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report.

To determine if your business is exempt, visit fincen.gov/boi. You can also watch FinCENS's short, five-minute video that walks you through the process of filing your BOI report in just 20 minutes.
