Val Giefer-Fossa was recently promoted to Audit Director!
Since joining our firm in 2013, Val has demonstrated exceptional leadership. In her new role, Val leads and oversees attest engagements including audits, reviews, and compilations, manages client relationships, and mentors our audit team. With extensive experience, Val reviews attest engagement files, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance. She serves as a primary point of contact for our clients by serving as a trusted business adviser. Val assists with assigning workloads and managing budgets, and ensures that engagements are started, executed, and completed on the planned schedule. She also fosters our staff’s professional growth by combining structured skill-building with real-time feedback.

Schlenner Wenner & Co. is pleased to announce a new partner to the firm- Ashley Meagher!
Ashley obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the College of St Benedict in 2012, started working with the St Cloud audit team in 2015, became Manager in 2019, Senior Manager in 2025, and now a Partner in 2026. We are grateful for Ashley’s dedication to the firm and the knowledge she shares with her coworkers and clients. She is responsible for assisting and guiding the audit team regarding cities, townships, school districts, other governmental entities, and not-for-profit organizations. We’re happy to have Ashley as part of our team.
