My financial journey has been more than 25 years in the making, and it is one of the most personal parts of who I am as the owner of a financial consulting and coaching practice, as well as the founder of The Kaizen Foundation NC.
More than 20 years ago, I made a decision to become truly intentional and consistent with budgeting. At the time, I was facing $18,000 in credit card debt that I was determined to eliminate. That season taught me discipline, patience, and the power of having a plan. It was not just about paying off debt—it was about changing my relationship with money and creating a life rooted in financial clarity and peace.
Saving has always come naturally to me, and over the years it has become one of my greatest financial strengths. During COVID, I even encouraged my husband, family, and friends to join me in several savings challenges. What started as a personal habit became a way to inspire the people around me to build confidence, security, and healthier financial behaviors together.
Today, I operate from an overall sense of financial peace. That does not mean the journey stops. Like anyone committed to growth, there are moments when I need to pause, refocus, reset, and realign my financial goals and position. Full transparency - that season is now! But I am deeply grateful for where I stand today and for the lessons that brought me here.
My passion now is helping others experience that same transformation. I want people to know that financial peace is possible, no matter where they begin. I invite others to learn how, take control of their financial future, and join me on the journey toward lasting stability, confidence, and freedom.
