We only thought today was TAX DAY. Alabama now has a special extended due date for the 2024 season. The new due date for filing tax returns and making payments is May 1st.

The office will be closed for a couple of days, but if you are a current customer and still need to file, give me a call.

Good things come to those who wait. If you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit, your refund can take a little longer. Use the Where's My Refund tool to get an updated status by February 17. If you filed electronically, requested direct deposit and had no issues with your return, you can get your refund as early as February 27. Some taxpayers may see their refunds earlier.

Tax Season for 2023 returns is expected to start Jan 18th.

There are a limited number of appointments available the afternoons of Jan 18th, 19th & 20th.

More regular hours will begin the week of Jan 22nd. Call the office (251) 287-6212 to schedule your appointment when you have ALL your tax documents.
