Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming 13 students to Crow Shields Bailey for our Behind the Numbers event.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to shadow our team members, hear directly from our shareholders during a Q&A session, and gain additional insight from guest speaker Brian Chaney. Our goal was simple: to give students a genuine look into careers in public accounting and the people behind the profession.

One of the most rewarding parts of the event has been the feedback we’ve received since Friday. Students shared how welcoming the environment felt, how much they learned throughout the day, and how unique the experience was compared to other recruiting events they have attended.

We are incredibly thankful to our team for taking the time to invest in the next generation of professionals and for creating an experience that truly reflected the culture of our firm.

To the students who joined us, thank you for spending the day with us. We loved getting to know each of you and hope you walked away with valuable insight into the opportunities within public accounting.

This tax season feels like a special one for us.

Forty years ago, we experienced our very first tax season here on the Gulf Coast. Since then, we have had the privilege of serving thousands of individuals, families, and businesses across the region, from startups to well-established companies.

We have watched our clients’ children grow up and start businesses of their own.
We have walked alongside families through major life moments, including estate planning and transitions.
We have supported businesses as they launched, grew, and evolved over the years.
