I hope all they do is 'weigh' their options. Minnesota is the 6th worst in tax efficiency and has seen a steady stream of people and businesses (restaurants) leave. The tax burden (assuming they don't reduce spending) eventually will rest on the middle class. A better answer: provide incentives for businesses to move into downtown, which increases the tax revenue and broadens the tax base. Oh, and while you are at it, get rid of the state death tax and align it with the federal legislation, please and thank you.
