Check for these things,
✅ go into transactions ➡️ reconcile. Your accounts should be
reconciled for each month last year

✅ your bank and QBO balance should be the same when you
have the green check mark

✅ on your balance sheet you SHOULD NOT have negative
balances

✅ on both your balance sheet and profit and loss you should not have balances in these accounts: uncategorized income, uncategorized assets, uncategorized expenses, ask my accountant. Try to put those transactions in the proper categories.

✅ create journal entries to reconcile sales from Square, Vagargo, Stripe, GlossGenius, etc.

Small businesses in Minnesota may now apply for financial assistance through the Economic Response Fund.

In the face of this year’s tremendous challenges, this responsive fund focuses on meeting urgent needs of small business owners and their teams—our neighbors, friends, and fellow Minnesotans.

With $4 million available, grants of $2,500-$10,000 will provide short-term stabilization support to businesses that have experienced operational disruptions in recent weeks. Eligible businesses (40 or fewer employees) may use funds for payroll, rent, inventory replacement, security costs, and more.

Applications are open and reviewed on a rolling basis.
Grant decisions will be made by seven nonprofit partners with deep experience assisting small businesses. Our partners include:

- African Development Center
- Lake Street Council
- LEDC-MN
- LISC MN
- Neighborhood Development Center
- PFund Foundation
- West Bank Minneapolis

Funding will support businesses in the Twin Cities and statewide, with an emphasis on communities experiencing the greatest disruptions.
