🚨 Vital Question For group Home Owners 🚨

If the IRS asked you TODAY to prove every deduction you took last year, could you confidently provide the documentation?

Or would you be scrambling through emails, bank statements, receipts, and spreadsheets trying to piece everything together?

Here’s the truth:

Messy bookkeeping doesn’t just create stress-
It creates missed deductions, cash flow problems, inaccurate decisions, and unnecessary tax liability.

The businesses that win financially aren’t always the ones making the most money💯

They’re the ones that KNOW their numbers.

Now is the time to:

✅ Clean up your books
✅ Separate business and personal expenses
✅ Track profitability correctly
✅ Prepare for tax planning BEFORE year-end
✅ Build a business that’s actually scalable

Bookkeeping is not just data entry.
It’s the foundation of smart tax strategy and financial growth.

Question:

How confident are you in your bookkeeping right now honestly? 👀

🤯LAST CALL BEFORE THE DEADLINE

If you haven’t filed your taxes yet don’t panic, but don’t wait either.

I am still accepting a limited number of clients for tax extensions 👀

Here’s the truth:
Most people think an extension = more time to pay ❌
It actually only gives you more time to file

Meaning: if you wait too long, it could cost you.

If you:
✔️ Haven’t filed yet
✔️ Feel overwhelmed or behind
✔️ Just need someone to handle it correctly

I got you.

💡 I’m helping a few individuals and business owners get compliant, avoid penalties, and breathe again before the deadline.

❌️Limited spots available (once they’re gone, they’re gone)

Drop “EXTENSION” in the comments or click below to secure your spot:

Until then…

🚨 Tax Deadline Update 🚨

Hey everybody!

We are officially in crunch time ⏰, and extensions are currently being filed.

If you know you are not ready to file your return by the deadline, you MUST let me know ASAP so we can get your extension submitted properly.

👉🏾 Deadline to request an extension: Tuesday, April 14th

After this date, I cannot guarantee that your extension will be filed on time.

To be clear, filing an extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay. If you owe, you still want to make a payment to avoid penalties and interest.

Don’t wait until the last minute and put yourself in a bad position.

✨ Friendly Reminder ✨

Hey everyone 💚

The tax deadline is quickly approaching on April 15th.

If you are currently on my client list and still need to submit documents, this is your reminder 👇🏾

Please make sure all outstanding documentation is submitted by April 6th.

This allows me enough time to prepare your return accurately and thoroughly, especially with the current volume.

If I do not receive everything by April 6th,
➡️ An extension will be filed on your behalf.

Just a quick reminder,
An extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay.

Let’s stay ahead and avoid any last-minute stress 😊

If you have questions or need guidance, I’m here to help!

🚨Reminder for S-Corp & Partnership Owners 🚨

Today is the deadline to file your tax return extension for:

• S-Corporations (Form 1120-S)
• Partnerships (Form 1065)

If you don’t file the extension today, the IRS can begin assessing late filing penalties per partner/shareholder — per month.

Even if your return isn’t ready yet, filing an extension protects you.

✔ Avoid unnecessary penalties
✔ Give yourself time to file accurately
✔ Stay compliant with the IRS

If you’re unsure whether your business has filed an extension yet, now is the time to check.

⏳ Deadline is TODAY, don’t miss it.

Should I change my business structure to save on taxes?

Your business structure affects how you’re taxed.

Many business owners ask whether switching from an LLC to an S-Corp or another structure could reduce taxes.

The answer depends on factors like:

• Profit level
• Payroll requirements
• Self-employment tax exposure
• Compliance costs

Changing structure without analysis can create new obligations.

But for the right business, structure adjustments can significantly impact tax liability.

📌 Save this for your next business review.

How can you lower your taxable income before year-end?

Many tax-saving opportunities happen before December 31. Once the year closes, most of those options disappear.

Common strategies people use include:

• Contributing to retirement accounts
• Making HSA contributions
• Accelerating deductible expenses
• Reviewing business purchases
• Charitable contributions
• Adjusting estimated taxes

Reducing taxable income doesn’t happen at filing time, it happens during the year.

That’s why proactive planning matters

📌 Save this post for December.

Filing Jointly vs Separately: Does it really matter?

Married?

Your filing status impacts:

• Tax brackets
• Credit eligibility
• Deduction limits
• Phaseout thresholds
• Student loan repayment calculations

Most couples file jointly, and often that’s beneficial.
evaluating both scenarios before making a decision
But filing separately can make sense in certain situations, such as:

• One spouse has high medical expenses
• Income-driven student loan repayment plans
• Large itemized deductions tied to one spouse
• Liability concerns
• Complex financial situations

Here’s the key:
Joint filing often provides better tax rates, but separate filing can sometimes lower overall liability depending on the numbers.

There is no universal “best” option.

Smart tax planning means calculating both scenarios before choosing.

Don’t assume. Compare.

🔁 Share with a married couple you know.

🚨 GROUP HOME OWNERS — MARCH 15 IS YOUR DEADLINE 🚨

If your group home is structured as an S-Corp or Partnership, your return is due March 15.

Not April.

Miss it and the IRS penalty is:

💸 $255 per owner, per month (or part of a month) late.
Even if you owe $0.

Let’s break that down:

• 2 owners, 2 months late = $1,020
• 3 owners, 3 months late = $2,295
• 4 owners, 1 month late = $1,020

This adds up FAST.

If your books aren’t finalized, you still need to file an extension by March 15 to avoid the late filing penalty.

Running a group home is already demanding. Don’t let preventable IRS penalties eat into your margins.

📩 Message me “GROUP HOME” if you need this handled.
