The deadline for filing taxes is Monday May 17th at midnight. If you owes money and file and pay by the 17th of May there is no interest or penalty. If you can't file by then, you can file an extension until October 15th 2021. This extension only give you time to file but if you owes, penalty will occur from the 17th of May until it is paid in full, this extension also eliminate late filing penalty.
