Imagine: Amazon moves in. 25,000-40,000 people earning six figures move into the area. Because of this, construction starts. Because construction starts, those jobs Opens a New Window. are created. Because construction starts, materials need to be bought. Because of this, companies that supply all those materials are doing more business … which increases their profits and potentially they hire more people.

Because of this construction, new roads, new access, sewers and infrastructure start up. You remember how important infrastructure is? Because of all this, even more jobs are created. All those jobs created increase the customer base. Because of the increased customer base, retail and restaurants do better. Because they are doing better, maybe they expand, creating even more jobs.

Those new retail and restaurant jobs also expand the customer base. As more and more companies see how well those retail and restaurants are doing, they now decide to open up in Long Island City. Because they open in Long Island City, they now have to hire more and more people. On and on and on.

To single out one politician as a liar is simply irresponsible. They all lie. The difference is that 45 is keeping more campaign promises than any other President in my lifetime. Sure he's a bit douchy but he wasn't elected to be likable.
He was elected to boost the Economy, he did.
He was elected to pass legislation on prescription drugs, he did.
He was elected to lower taxes, He did.
He was elected to put Americans first, He is.
He was elected to do something about the illegal immigration problem that is crippling our welfare and educational system, He is trying.
He was elected to pull out of the Iran deal, He did.
He was elected to treat ISIS like Terrorists, he did.
He was elected so that American Companies could compete with the world oil exporters in the middle east. He did
He was elected so that we could tell NATO that we will not be the majority of their funding. He did
He was elected to fix the trade imbalance with the Asian exporters. He did.
He was elected to restore funding to our Military because world powers like China and Russia have been steadily growing their respective militates. He did.
All of these things he promised.
Hate him all you want, nothing that he has done since being elected has resulted in a net loss for the American people. His problem is that he isn't much of an orator or a personable fella. But we didn't elect him to be our friend. We elected him to do what the last few President's haven't done. Put America first.

Let's hope our next President can do the same, but with respect and dignity too.

SO I'm left wondering what the Russians actually did. First it was collusion, which by definition, you need two parties involved for collusion to take place.

Who was the other party?

Skipping past that, What did they really do? They hacked Clinton's illegal server, and they hacked the DNC servers. Then, they released ACTUAL messages and emails from both that NOBODY ever denied were true or real.....
