📢 There is such thing as having TOO MUCH CASH!

If you have medium- to long-term goals, like one day retiring 😌 or saving for your kids’ college 📚 or buying a vacation home 😎…do yourself a favor and put your money to work by investing it! 📈

Cash is important to have on hand for emergencies and to cover short-term goals and expenses 💵, but once you have that cushion built, investing your money will allow it to grow over time WITHOUT you having to put in additional work to earn that money. 💸

Need help figuring out your cash sitch? DM me to get started on your journey to organized finances and financial freedom. 🗺️

**Everyone is different, so it’s important to analyze your own situation, and speaking with your tax, financial, and legal professional before taking action is strongly suggested. This content is for educational purposes only and is not a solicitation for any investments or financial products.

A little bit about me and why I founded FAAV! 🤗

TLDR:

✅ Worked in wealth management on Wall Street for ~10 years but wasn’t satisfied

✅ Wanted to work with other millennials - especially entrepreneurs - who didn’t meet the high asset minimums of the large Wall Street firms (people like me!)

✅ I also own a wedding & events venue along with my hubby on our 5-acre farm in Miami called

✅ Love hanging with my pup, Toph, exploring the Keys & roadtripping with Mike and my bonus kids, dates with my besties, and reading

I mean, can we really rely on Social Security?? 😅

It’s never too early to plan for your future. 📝

And the fun part? There are so many different ways you can reach financial freedom. 📍

This post shares a few ideas, but the key is to use strategies that best fit your lifestyle, capabilities, timeframe, and risk tolerance. ⏱️

And of course, this is intended for educational purposes, so always consult your financial advisor, tax professional, and/or lawyer before implementing a strategy to make sure your bases are covered. ✅

There’s no such thing as the perfect way to build wealth. 📈

No matter what you hear.
No matter what people say.
No matter what the “experts/influencers” try to tell you.

What there is? Is a customized action plan that considers where you’re currently at financially and helps you achieve your personal goals. 📝

You see, not only do people have different reasons why they want to build wealth (maybe they want to retire someday or they want to leave a legacy behind for their kids), but they also are at different places in their money journey and have different attitudes toward money (some people might be scared to invest in stocks while others are trying to get out of a mountain of student loan debt).

So, is there one strategy that suits everyone? No! 🚫

So remember, next time you are reading all that ‘stuff’ online making you doubt yourself and telling you, “This is the only way to build wealth,” ask yourself if this one-size-fits-all strategy touted across social media is really where you want to spend your time, money, and efforts to build your dream life.

And if it’s not? Just scroll away. 👋

Happy 2024! 🎊

This was both a fun post to make and a challenging one. I believe real results take measurable and defined actions, but too many big steps can be overwhelming and ultimately prohibit us from moving forward. 📝

This year is about taking small steps with celebrated achievements 🎉

What is on your list?!

Last Thursday I had the absolute pleasure of attending and speaking at Luly Carreras’s SPARK 2023! ⚡️

It was such an incredible day full of connections, breakthroughs, and learning. 💕

As the lovely and mighty Luly stated, entrepreneurship can be lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. Perhaps the number one ticket to success (whatever that looks like for you)? Making connections. 🤝

Why ‘FAAV’?!

Ever since announcing the name of this venture to friends and family, I’ve gotten the, “Huh?” as a reaction. 😂

FAAV, pronounced ‘fave’, is an acronym that stands for “finance as a verb”. The idea behind that is in order to achieve your goals, you HAVE to take action (just like ‘getting in shape’ requires exercise). 🏃‍♀️

I also wanted a name that sounded fresh and fun. I work with a lot of millennials/folks in their 30s & 40s, so I didn’t want my practice to sound like their grandfather’s wealth management firm.

I genuinely believe personal finance can be fun, and our journey to feeling confident in our finances can be an enjoyable (and sometimes painful 😅) process.

We also grew up with acronyms: LOL, BRB, IDK…so it just made sense when Mike came to me with this idea! 😊

And, thus, FAAV was born! 💙

Welcome to FAAV, pronounced ‘fave’, an acronym that stands for ‘finance as a verb’.

I’ve spent weeks trying to come up with the *perfect* first post for my new business but then remembered perfection doesn’t exist and done is better than perfect.

Anyway, I’ll be sharing WAY MORE about my journey to founding FAAV as well as helpful financial (and life) tips and anecdotes along the way.

Follow along for what I promise won’t be snooze-fest financial advice!
