I would like to apologize to all of our clients about our phone system. I am being told by numerous people that our office line is showing up as SPAM on peoples phones so we are having a hard time letting you guys know when your taxes are complete. Reach 4 says it's something they can't fix but I never had this problem until I switched to their service. I am looking for someone to work in the office this year. Hours will be possibly 10am to 6pm. On slow days, you may not stay all day. Work is normally from end of January until April 15. I need someone to answer phones, help greet customers and collect their tax information, and check and copy prepared returns. Office or tax experience is preferred but not required. Attention to details is a must!! Pay is $11 an hour. Please email resume to [email protected]. Make sure contact info is correct. I had a few resumes that I was interested in last year, but phone numbers were not correct.

The following information is for anyone who has an active LLC registered with the state of Louisiana. BOI reports can be filed at www.fincen.gov/boi

Effective January 1, 2024, many companies in the United States must report information about their beneficial owners—the individuals who ultimately own or control the company—to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

FinCEN began accepting reports on January 1, 2024.
• If your company was created or registered prior to January 1, 2024, you will have until January 1, 2025 to report BOI.
• If your company is created or registered in 2024, you must report
BOI within 90 calendar days after receiving actual or public notice
that your company’s creation or registration is effective, whichever is earlier.
• If your company is created or registered on or after January 1, 2025, you must file BOI within 30 calendar days after receiving actual or public notice that its creation or registration is effective.
• Any updates or corrections to beneficial ownership information that you previously filed with FinCEN must be submitted within 30 days

I decided this year that after tax season, I would be working by appointment only. I was coming in at least twice a week the past years and most days, sitting here with nothing to do...just in case the phone rang. So far, this seems to be working but please don't waste your time or mine scheduling an appointment and not showing up! I've had 2 people not show already today.

It's been 5 years since we've increased prices for tax returns, so this coming year, we will be increasing prices by $5. I hate to do it, but with the cost of electricity and supplies constantly rising, it is necessary. Also, payments are due when you pick up your tax returns. I normally work with people as necessary on this one, but this past year, I've had an unusually high number of people that I tried to help out who are ignoring my invoices now and not submitting their payments. Thank you all for your continued business and support. We really appreciate you!

Wednesday April 5 - closed
Thursday April 6 - 10 to 12 and 1 to 6
Friday April 7 - 10 to 12 and 1 to 4
Saturday April 8 - 10 to 12 and 1 to 4
