All customers who are currently unsure about the stimulus payment here is the latest information available on the IRS.gov/eip site:
If you have not yet received your second stimulus payment please check the status of the payment on the site below using the "Get my payment" tool.
If your status says a check was mailed and you moved, the check will be returned to the IRS and they WILL NOT reissue you the payment. Instead the IRS is advising you to file your tax return and claim the Recovery Credit so that your refund will include the second stimulus payment.
If it says "Payment #2 Status Not available" then you are not receiving a second stimulus check and you too can claim the Recovery Credit on your taxes and the stimulus amount will be added to your refund amount. This status likely means they sent the money to an account via direct deposit that is no longer open or they mailed a check to an address you no longer receive mail at.
Stop in to our offices for a free quote with Ms. Rachel and she can explain how the stimulus payment will be reflected in your tax return.
