This is where the money should go not to the woman who choose not to follow directions
Kaylin, a 28-year-old single mother of two, is being placed on hospice care following a long battle with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her brain. A devoted mom to her 9-year-old daughter Jace and her 6-year-old son Memphis, Kaylin says her greatest fear is not dying, "it’s leaving [her] children behind with added pain, stress, and financial burden to [her] family when [she's] gone."
After three years of cancer treatment and enduring multiple surgeries and serious complications, Kaylin is now seeking community support to help cover end-of-life and funeral expenses and to establish a trust that will provide stability for her children in the future.
"I never imagined I would hear the words, “There’s nothing more we can do for you.” Just a few weeks before Christmas, I was told hospice would be calling my mom and me to set everything up. My world changed forever in that moment. I’m so heartbroken for my children and family."
