After much thought I have decided that Drake our Goldendoodle isn’t a good fit for our family. He is an F1B apricot in color weighs about 50 pounds is kennel trained and loves attention. He just turned 2 and is an abundance of energy. If only I was 25 years younger he would be my constant companion but sadly I’m too old

It’s official! Change is inevitable. Sometimes it’s for better or for worse, in sickness and in health. We have moved our office to Vidalia. As many know my mom has dementia and this move has enabled me to be closer to her. We have a new location, 401A Lynn Street. We have a new phone number 3184142638. We have a new name Miss Lou Tax and Accounting Inc. We have a new website missloutax.com. We have a new email address [email protected]
But it’s still ME! I will help you obtain the largest legitimate refund. We are using the same bank and are able to offer refund advance loans. We ❤️ our clients and can’t wait for you to see our new office!!!

Last night the IRS made an update to its Get My Payments website, confirming customers will receive their Economic Impact Payments (EIP) by mail to their addresses on file. This is the correct and updated payment status message. The IRS only updates once a day at night, and all records are not updated yet.

Contrary to this weekend’s update, the IRS does NOT intend to send payments back to the same temporary refund transfer accounts from where those payments were returned. This message was an error and is being corrected by the IRS.

In yesterday’s update, we said the messaging on the Get My Payment website telling customers their payments are scheduled to be distributed back to the same temporary refund transfer account at the end of this week (April 24) was posted in error. We asked the IRS to correct and clarify that answer with more information about the check distribution. The IRS has now confirmed that this message was given in error and are updating the Get My Payments website each day at night.

PLEASE NOTE: not all individuals have had their Get My Payment status updated yet. The date for checks to mail may vary from individual to individual.

We are deeply concerned that our customers were delayed in getting their stimulus payments. We hope this update from the IRS will provide more clarity and comfort about receiving your stimulus payment.

We expect the IRS will continue to update the Get My Payment status for all those impacted.

The IRS is maintaining an ongoing FAQ with answers to common stimulus questions. Check their site daily with updates that will address this and many other questions.

Important information regarding Economic Impact Payments (EIP):

The IRS will be issuing Economic Impact payments directly to individuals and not to the accounts setup for bank products.

If the IRS erroneously sent your EIP payment to the refund transfer bank account at Refund Advantage, this payment has been returned to the IRS to be distributed directly to you.

Neither your tax preparer nor Refund Advantage have access to this payment or any information regarding it. Neither your tax preparer nor Refund Advantage can update your disbursement information.

All questions regarding your EIP need to be directed to the IRS. The number is 800-829-1040

Social Security beneficiaries and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients who don’t file tax returns will start receiving their automatic Economic Impact Payments directly from the Treasury Department soon. People receiving benefits who did not file 2018 or 2019 taxes, and have qualifying children under age 17, however, should not wait for their automatic $1,200 individual payment. They should immediately go to the IRS’s webpage at www.irs.gov/coronavirus/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here and visit the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here section to provide their information. Social Security retirement, survivors, and disability insurance beneficiaries with dependent children and who did not file 2018 or 2019 taxes need to act by Wednesday, April 22, in order to receive additional payments for their eligible children quickly. SSI recipients need to take this action by later this month; a specific date will be available soon.

Steps to receive the Economic Impact Payment if you haven't filed a tax return for 2018 or 2019, and aren't receiving Social Security, SS Disability Income or Railroad Retirement benefits. This payment is also referred to as "stimulus checks" or "coronavirus relief."

Many have called and asked questions about how the stimulus payments would work if you picked up a check at our office or used one of the cards we gave you-
*** If you did a refund transfer and picked up a check in our office you will need to add your information on the IRS.gov economic impact payment portal-
***If you received your refund on a card that we gave you (a faster money card) you will be able to have your stimulus deposited on the card by going to MyFasterMoney.com and set up an account so you can get your routing number and account number associated with the card and enter that information into the portal
***If you received your refund via direct deposit but you did not pay us directly go to the irs.gov portal and check to see if the information is correct, we have heard conflicting stories and are not sure
