At Calander Wealth, everything starts with family. As a child, our Founder- Dusti Calander, Private Wealth Advisor - spent her days at job sites with her
grandparents, who ran a small tree service business. Her grandfather used to say,
"When you see a red bird, you’re about to come into some money." Over time, that red bird came to mean more than luck, it became a symbol of hope, resili

ence, and
trust in the future. Her grandparents were entrepreneurs who led with integrity and took risks for the people they loved. When they opened their home to Dusti’s family, they didn’t just offer support—they passed on
opportunity. That act of generosity made it possible for Dusti’s father to build his business, and
eventually, for her to build hers. From trees, to brick, to wealth management, Calander Wealth is the third generation of that legacy. The red bird lives on in our story, not just as a symbol, but as a reminder: when you lead with heart,

We pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms.

At Calander Wealth, this day is especially meaningful to our team. We carry a deep respect for all who serve, because many of our own family members have proudly worn the uniform.

Today, we also honor two of those special heroes:
• Dusti’s grandmother, who served in the U.S. Army in an administrative role during the Korean War
• Carly’s father-in-law, who served as a Marine Infantryman

We are proud to share their legacy and remember their service alongside so many others who gave so much.

Most executives don’t realize how concentrated they actually are.

Salary, bonus, and RSUs are often all tied to the same company, which means your income and your net worth are exposed to the same risk. It feels fine when things are going well, but it creates a level of dependency that usually isn’t intentional.

This is where a bit more structure helps. Reviewing your exposure, setting a plan around RSU sales as they vest, and gradually diversifying over time can reduce that risk without overreacting. It’s less about making a big move and more about making sure your overall plan isn’t built around a single outcome.
