🌿2023 is here, and we couldn't be more excited, because it’s officially the ⭐️YEAR OF THE FARM BILL!⭐️
🔎 So, what does that mean? The last farm bill, the Agriculture Act of 2018, funded USDA programs for 5 years and will expire this September. Over the coming months, the Senate and House Ag Committees will hold hearings, take feedback, and draft new legislation for our next farm bill.
🔎 Congress is hoping to pass the 2023 Farm Bill on time, and though political processes don’t always follow strict timelines, the 2023 Farm Bill is a key opportunity to demonstrate bipartisanship because soil is our common ground.
💪All of our work and advocacy since the launch of Regenerate America™ has been directed at this single piece of legislation, worth billions of dollars, which will determine the future of our nation's climate, food, water, and more.
