In the world of accounting, many people assume all accountants are CPAs or CPAs are the *elite* accountants. But that is not necessarily true.

Plenty of CPAs don’t even prepare taxes….some even pay someone else to do their taxes (don’t worry I won’t out you guys).
Nothing against CPAS but CPA is not synonymous with the best person to prepare your taxes. There are totally CPAs that specialize in tax but the title is pretty broad if you are looking for someone SPECIFICALLY to prepare your taxes.

Now EA’s is where it is at.

EA stands for Enrolled Agent and it is someone the - IRS - has qualified as a person experienced in *specifically* tax preparation. This person has credentials relating to the exact kind of work you are needing done.
