If you have received Form 5510 (pictured) or a request for payment from the Annual Records Service, this is a SCAM!

Currently, registration under the Corporate Transparency Act is only required for entities formed under the laws of a foreign country that have registered to do business in any U.S. State or tribal jurisdiction by filing a document with a secretary of state or similar office.
The only fee required to be paid for a business in Louisiana is the Annual Report Fee to the Secretary of State for renewal of your business each year.
