šŸš€ ā€œHouston, we have a problem.ā€

And this time, the problem may be electricity.

Everyone is talking about AI, data centers, chips, and the billions being invested into the next wave of technology.

But here’s the part most people don’t think about:

AI needs a massive amount of power.

Data centers worldwide used about 415 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in 2024—roughly comparable to the annual electricity consumption of France.

And that demand could more than double by 2030.

Here’s the catch:

You can build the data center.

You can buy the chips.

You can spend billions on AI infrastructure.

But if the grid can’t deliver enough electricity… then what?

Power plants, transformers, transmission lines, and grid connections can take years to build.

So while everyone is focused on which AI company wins, I’m also watching something much more basic:

⚔ Can we actually power all of this?

Because AI may be one of the biggest investment stories of the decade—but without enough electricity, growth could eventually run into a very expensive wall.

šŸ’¬ What do you think becomes the bigger opportunity: AI companies—or the energy and infrastructure needed to power them?

Share this with someone who thinks the AI boom is only about technology.

ā€œWhat we’ve got here… is a failure to communicate.ā€

If you remember Cool Hand Luke, you know the line.

And honestly, it describes the stock market pretty well right now. šŸ˜‚

You turn on the TV and hear:

šŸ“ˆ ā€œThe S&P 500 finished UP!ā€

Sounds great, right?

But on October 19, while the S&P 500 gained roughly 0.4%…

šŸ”» 324 stocks fell
🟢 Only 176 stocks rose

Almost twice as many stocks were down as up.

And fewer than 43% were trading above their 50-day moving average.

So how can the market be ā€œupā€ when so many stocks are going down?

Because companies like Nvidia, Apple and Microsoft carry enormous weight in the major indexes.

When those giants move higher, they can make the headline number look strong even while hundreds of other stocks are struggling underneath.

That’s why I don’t think investors should only watch the number flashing across the bottom of the TV screen.

Your 401(k) doesn’t care what the headline says. It cares what you actually own.

So maybe the real failure to communicate is this:

šŸ“ˆ The index says everything is fine.
šŸ“‰ Hundreds of stocks may be saying something very different.

šŸ’¬ Did you realize the market could be UP while almost twice as many stocks were DOWN?

Share this with someone who only looks at the S&P 500 to see how ā€œthe marketā€ is doing.

🚢 The economy is a lot like a supertanker… and that should get your attention.

You can’t stop a massive tanker by hitting the brakes.

It takes miles.

The economy can work the same way.

Right now, businesses are dealing with higher costs for energy, transportation, materials, and more.

So what happens?

Companies raise prices.

At first, revenues can still look good because customers are paying more.

But eventually, families start feeling it.

More for gas.
More for electricity.
More for groceries.
More for transportation.

And there’s only so much money to go around.

That means less for restaurants, vacations, cars, shopping, and everything else.

Then the cycle can start:

Higher prices → consumers pull back → sales slow → margins tighten → companies cut costs → hiring slows.

And potentially, layoffs follow.

The important part?

None of this happens overnight.

Sometimes the warning signs are developing long before they make the headlines.

The tanker may still be moving forward…

but that doesn’t mean it isn’t slowing down.

šŸ’¬ Are you already cutting back somewhere because everyday costs have gone up?

Share this with someone who thinks the economy changes direction overnight.

šŸ§™ā€ā™‚ļø Remember yesterday’s Wizard of Oz video? Well… we’re going back behind the curtain.

You turn on the TV and hear:

šŸ“ˆ ā€œThe S&P 500 is near record highs!ā€

And naturally you think… Great. The stock market must be doing amazing.

But here’s what most everyday investors don’t realize:

Nvidia alone makes up roughly 7.5% of the entire S&P 500.

Now think about companies you probably know from everyday life:

Best Buy.
General Mills.
Pfizer.
Tyson Foods.
Campbell’s Soup.
Clorox.

Some of these companies have 50–75 times LESS influence on the index than Nvidia.

Think about that for a second.

One giant company can move the S&P 500 more than dozens of familiar companies combined.

So when you hear ā€œthe market is up,ā€ that doesn’t necessarily mean your stocks are up.

It doesn’t necessarily mean the average company is doing great.

And it definitely doesn’t automatically mean your 401(k), IRA, or retirement portfolio is positioned the way you think it is.

Sometimes a handful of massive companies are doing most of the heavy lifting.

šŸ§™ā€ā™‚ļø Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain…

Or maybe this time, we should.

šŸ’¬ Did you know the S&P 500 was this concentrated?

If this surprised you, share it with someone who checks the S&P and assumes that tells the whole story.

šŸŽ ā€œPAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAINā€¦ā€

If you grew up watching The Wizard of Oz, you know the line.

And honestly, that’s exactly what this market feels like right now.

Everyone sees the S&P 500 holding up and assumes the market must be healthy.

But what happens when you actually look behind the curtain?

Roughly 10 stock positions account for about 39% of the entire S&P 500.

That means a relatively small group of mega-cap, AI-related companies can have an enormous impact on what the overall index looks like.

Here’s the part that should get your attention:

If those 10 positions rose 40% while the other 490+ positions fell more than 25%, the S&P 500 could still be roughly flat.

Read that again.

Hundreds of stocks could be struggling while the headline index barely moves.

That’s why simply looking at the S&P 500 doesn’t always tell you what’s happening underneath the surface.

The curtain can make everything look fine.

But sometimes you need to see what’s actually happening in Oz. šŸ‘€

šŸ’¬ Do you look at the overall market—or do you pay attention to what’s happening underneath the index?

Share this with someone who thinks ā€œthe S&P is upā€ automatically means the entire market is doing well.

⛽ Everyone keeps asking when the war will end. I think there’s another question we should be asking…

What if the war ends—but the damage doesn’t?

Reuters documented at least 135 attacks on 84 critical infrastructure sites across the Gulf. Some major energy facilities have been hit repeatedly, and rebuilding parts of the region’s energy infrastructure could take years—not weeks or months.

That matters because oil and natural gas don’t magically appear at the gas station the day a ceasefire is announced.

They still have to be:

• Produced
• Processed
• Transported
• Shipped

And if that infrastructure remains damaged or disrupted, energy prices could stay elevated long after the fighting stops.

That can eventually touch almost everything:

Gas. Groceries. Electricity. Travel. Shipping. Inflation. And your investments.

So instead of only asking, ā€œWhen will things go back to normal?ā€

I think investors should also be asking:

What happens to my money if they don’t go back to normal as quickly as everyone hopes?

Do you know how much energy exposure you have?

Do you know which parts of your portfolio could be more sensitive to higher oil prices and inflation?

Because hoping everything goes back to normal isn’t a financial plan at all.

šŸ’¬ What do you think happens first—oil comes back down, or consumers start feeling these higher costs even more?

Save this one and send it to someone who keeps saying, ā€œEverything will go back to normal when the war ends.ā€

šŸ˜‚ Anyone born before 1990 should know this one… Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Because right now, this is the question I feel like nobody wants to answer:

What if these wars don’t end anytime soon?

What if we’re still dealing with this 6 months from now? A year from now?

What if oil doesn’t come back down?

What if it goes higher?

Then what happens to:

• Gasoline
• Groceries
• Electricity
• Travel
• Shipping
• Inflation
• Your investments

I’m not saying that’s definitely what’s going to happen.

I’m asking something more important:

Have you even thought about what happens if it does?

Because hoping everything goes back to normal isn’t a financial plan at all.

If oil stays high and inflation remains elevated, do you know how your portfolio is positioned?

Do you know how much energy exposure you actually have?

Do you know which parts of your portfolio could benefit—and which could get hurt?

That’s the part I think more people need to be paying attention to.

šŸ’¬ Bueller… anyone?

If you have money in the stock market, I really think this is worth watching🚨

I’m not trying to scare anyone or sell anything. I just want people to understand what’s happening beneath the headlines.

Inflation is moving higher again. Gasoline prices are about 34% higher than a year ago, and the Nasdaq just had another rough day as earnings season gets underway.

Think about what higher prices actually mean in everyday life.

More to fill your car.
More for groceries.
More for travel.
More for housing.

And when millions of households have less disposable income, eventually that can show up in company earnings.

That’s what I’m watching right now.

And here’s the part I think people underestimate:

If you have $1 million invested and the market drops 20%, that’s a $200,000 decline on paper.

If you’re retired and withdrawing money at the same time, market volatility can feel very different than it does when you’re still decades away from retirement.

I’m not saying a 20% decline is guaranteed. It isn’t.

I’m saying this is a good time to ask yourself one simple question:

Do I actually know how much risk I’m taking?

Because being comfortable with your portfolio when everything is going up is easy.

The real test comes when it isn’t.

šŸ’¬ What are you watching most closely right now—inflation, earnings, interest rates, or the market itself?

Save this and come back to it in a few weeks.

🚨 MARK THIS VIDEO: THE WARNING SIGNS ARE GETTING HARDER TO IGNORE

Are you positioned for the economy we have now — or the one that could be coming next? Message me to find out!

Shipping costs are surging. Mortgage rates are higher. Fertilizer supply is tightening. Transportation costs are climbing.

Now ask yourself:

What happens when all of those pressures hit consumers at the same time?

When families spend more on food, energy, housing, and transportation, they have less money left for everything else.

That can lead to weaker consumer spending, pressure on corporate earnings, lower stock valuations, and greater risk to retirement portfolios.

Some of the numbers:
• Supertanker shipping costs reportedly jumped from $10–15 million to more than $80 million
• Certain trucking fuel surcharges increased about 54%
• European nitrogen fertilizer imports fell 51%
• Saudi fertilizer exports fell 63%
• Mortgage rates climbed from roughly 6.3% to 7.4%

The market may still look strong today.

What sector are you watching most closely right now?
