NASA has shared new details about its long-term vision for building a base on the Moon. 🌕

The agency hopes to return humans to the lunar surface in 2028, with a broader goal of developing infrastructure that could eventually support longer-term activity there.

NASA says the effort will unfold in phases, starting with demonstrations of key technology, cargo delivery, landers, rovers, and surface research.

The challenge is significant. The Moon’s surface can reach extreme temperatures, lacks an atmosphere, and offers no natural protection from radiation, space weather, or meteorite impacts.

Early work is expected to focus on testing systems, studying survival needs, identifying potential landing areas, and preparing for future human activity.

It’s a reminder that space exploration often moves step by step—through engineering, testing, persistence, and the willingness to solve difficult problems far from home.

What would you do with a windfall?

A business sale. An inheritance. A bonus that lands bigger than expected.

Most people assume they'd handle it well.

But sudden money follows patterns. And the patterns aren't always flattering.

Psychologists call it sudden wealth syndrome: the anxiety, decision paralysis, and relationship pressure that arrive alongside a large sum. It shows up whether the windfall was a complete surprise or something you spent years building toward.

The 5 most common mistakes we see:

⏳ Upgrading your lifestyle before a strategy exists

🤝 Giving to family under emotional pressure

📊 Attempting to make decisions without professional guidance

⚖️ Freezing and making no decisions at all

📋 Missing the critical deadlines in year one

All five can be managed, but only if you get ahead of the emotions before the decisions start piling up.

The most important thing you can do in the first 90 days? Maybe nothing.

Tell very few people. Then consider building a team of professionals who can offer insights and guidance.

There is rarely a cost to waiting. There is frequently a cost to moving too quickly.

Some trips are about getting away.

Others are about slowing down and really being there.

Lately, luxury travel has been less about doing more and more about choosing experiences that feel memorable, immersive, and just a little indulgent.

Whether that means returning to a favorite destination in a new way or heading somewhere you never thought you’d go, the common thread is simple: curiosity, comfort, and time to enjoy it.

If you could go anywhere next, where would you linger?

Most parents think the last tuition check means game over for college. The data says it's halftime.

50 percent of parents with adult children still provide regular financial support, spending $1,474 a month to do so. That's more than twice what they're putting toward their own retirement.

Here's what "just helping out a little" actually looks like:

✅ 75 percent of parents aged 45+ are financially supporting at least one adult child, even though over half of those children can meet their own basic needs, according to a 2025 AARP survey.

✅ 42 percent of supporting parents report financial stress. 9 percent have retired early because of it.

✅ 47 percent say they've sacrificed their own financial position for the sake of their kids.

✅ 18 percent say the support could continue indefinitely. They don't see an end in sight.

This isn't about being less generous. It's about being intentional.

Whether your kid just graduated, graduated five years ago, or is still in school, the question is the same: Is your support happening by design or by default?

That's worth a conversation.

Federal Reserve independence is receiving renewed attention as questions around political pressure and monetary policy continue to surface.

In recent remarks, former Fed Chair Jerome Powell described the central bank as facing a political “stress test,” emphasizing the importance of keeping monetary policy decisions insulated from short-term political influence.

At the center of the discussion is the idea that public trust matters. When households, businesses, and markets believe the Fed is making decisions based on economic conditions, that credibility can support confidence in the broader financial system.

The concern is that political pressure could push policymakers toward short-term decisions that may not align with long-term price stability.

History has shown that inflation can become harder to manage when interest rate decisions are delayed or influenced by outside pressure.

For the economy, the broader issue is not just who leads the Fed — it is whether the institution can maintain credibility while balancing inflation, employment, and financial stability.

The U.S. House has approved a bipartisan housing affordability bill aimed at addressing the role of large institutional buyers in the single-family housing market.

The bill passed by a 396-13 vote and would prevent institutional investors that already own more than 350 single-family homes from buying additional existing homes.

However, the measure would still allow those investors to build more housing units, a key distinction that helped gain support from rental, construction, and housing industry groups.

Supporters say the bill could help improve access to single-family homes, while critics argue that some provisions may not go far enough to address build-to-rent activity.

The measure still needs Senate approval before it can move forward, meaning additional changes or debate may follow.

For housing markets, the discussion highlights the ongoing tension between affordability, supply, rentals, and homeownership.

Artificial intelligence is becoming a more common expectation in early-career roles.

Recent data shows that about 4.2% of entry-level job postings now reference AI skills, nearly double the share from a year ago. Internship postings are even higher, with more than 10% including AI-related requirements.

The trend spans a range of industries, with the strongest presence in technology roles, along with growing adoption in areas like financial services and marketing.

At the same time, many students report learning these tools on their own, as formal training continues to catch up with workplace expectations.

While the overall job market for new graduates remains competitive, familiarity with AI tools is becoming one way candidates can stand out across a variety of roles.
