The warns of an evolving digital assets scam where fraudsters are sending fake IRS letters that direct you to enroll your cryptocurrency in a “Digital Asset Compliance Portal” by a certain deadline. No such portal exists.

If you receive this notice, do not scan the QR code or provide any personal or financial information. Scammers are trying to steal your information and digital assets.

The has announced tax relief for individuals and businesses in Mississippi who were affected by the severe winter storm that began on January 23, 2026. If you applied for a Refund Anticipation Loan and have not received your refund, please contact me so we can look into it together and find out where the money is.

And just for peace of mind:

✔️ Every tax return we received was handled.
✔️ Returns were either filed or an extension was submitted.

There is no need to double check — everything was processed.

Remember… if you don’t get paid, I don’t get paid, so trust me, I’m just as interested in finding out where the money is as you are.

Tax Season Update

A quick clarification for everyone:

Our tax software charges us to electronically file extensions, so if the extension fee was not paid, it was not sent electronically. However, because I care about my clients, I printed and mailed those extensions to the state so no one would be left without coverage.

If you believe you missed the federal extension, remember that all 82 counties in Mississippi have a federal extension deadline of June 8, so you still have time.

If your return is completed and signed but payment has not been made, please understand we cannot transmit your return until payment is received.

After the hours we’ve kept this tax season, our office will not be keeping tax-season office hours.

We will still be working daily, but remotely — through email, text, calls, and scheduled face-to-face appointments when necessary.

Please understand the hours we have worked to serve everyone have been exhausting, and we are adjusting our schedule so we can continue serving clients well.

With that being said not taking quick questions, calls, text absolutely not talking taxes for 4 days! We need to recharge!

One last thing... your taxes are in your email password protected plus we gave you a copy. Any requests will have a service fee to send no exceptions!!
