Lately I’ve had a few new clients come to me after working with other bookkeepers, and unfortunately their books needed quite a bit of cleanup.

To be clear — none of us are perfect, and bookkeeping can get complicated. But it was a reminder that business owners should always feel comfortable asking questions and making sure they understand what’s happening with their finances.

It's hard to believe we're already approaching September! It's not too early to get your books in order for a stress-free tax time. Keep in mind that if you wait until you hand your receipts to your accountants to ask for tax savings, it's already too late. Nearly all tax savings must be planned and intentional. It starts with ensuring your expenses are properly accounted for.

I saw this post this morning and it perfectly explained how I feel about my goals. I wanted an opportunity to be able to work for myself and hopefully have a better life for my family. But in reality, what is really driving me and where I want to be is because I want to be able to help business owners. I want to be able to guide people to suceed in their passion. There is so much crap out there on the internet telling you how to run your business and it is hard trying to determine what is real and what is fake. Many times people find themselves in situations where they listed to that "professional" on the internet and it cost them everything. I spend a lot of my time researching and staying up to date on what is going on to be able to help everyone I can. I also do not pretend to be all knowing and I have no shame in admitting if I don't know something, but I will always find the answers (and not by using AI 😒) I want to earn the trust of my clients and always be working to help them grow their businesses and succeed in every way possible. I found my true calling later in life and I am answering in the best way I can. I love what I do, I love being able to meet new people and being able to coach them through the tough waters of dealing Financials and taxes. This is my passion.
