About the Position
As a Parts Clerk you will be responsible for the completion of procedures involving the ordering, replenishment, receiving, stocking, transferring and issuing of parts at Kenco Material Handling Solutions.
Functions
β’ Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop.
β’ Responsible for entering all order parts on work order.
β’ Responsible for receiving parts and entering them into the system.
β’ Responsible to complete parts pricing Quotes for service personnel.
β’ Respond quickly and accurately to part requests from shop personnel.
β’ Work with vendors to locate and order parts.
β’ Receive parts and inspect for quality and accuracy.
β’ Maintain the proper levels of parts in stock.
β’ Assist in payables of all parts and ensure that they are turned in daily.
β’ Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
β’ Identifies and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement in the Parts Department.
β’ Maintain accurate accounting record for purchased and/or returned part.
Qualifications
β’ High School diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
β’ 1-3 yearsβ experience working in an Parts Department required.
β’ Inventory Management experience preferred.
β’ Experience in computerized inventory software, and ordering processing systems preferred.
β’ Demonstrated proficiency in relevant software and basic computer skills specifically in Microsoft office products and applications.
β’ Ability to lift 10-50 pounds frequently.
β’ Forklift experience preferred.
β’ Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customers and team members.
