With Biden signing the bill, we have some new tax legislation to follow, but guidance on some of it is still lacking. Awaiting the IRS interpretation of these provisions.

Of course the $1400 payments are the biggest news, but there are also updates to taxability of unemployment comp, new amounts for the child tax credit and dependent care credit, and other tax law revisions.

In this version, the maximum payment is $1,400 per qualified individual or $2,400 for a couple. Previous payment amounts were for $1,200 and $600 per qualified individual respectively. In addition, payments are now available for all dependents, ...
