It’s 2026, let’s stop talking about "Wealth" like it’s just a math problem.
What does true legacy mean to you?
Most of us are running the rat race, checking our bank apps, and obsessing over the "tool" (the money). We think once we hit a certain number, we’ve made it. But I’ve learned that money is just the fuel; it isn't the destination.
I always say: Your story is your seed. Your money is your tool. Your legacy is your assignment.
Think about it this way:
The Seed: That difficult season you survived? That’s a lesson for your kids. That’s your story.
The Tool: The paycheck you just got? That’s what buys you the time to tell that story or the security to keep your family safe if things go sideways.
The Assignment: This is the big one. It’s making sure that if you aren't here tomorrow, your family isn't just left with "stuff," but with a foundation that lets them keep dreaming.
Building wealth isn’t just about the commas in your bank account. It’s about making sure that when life happens, and it always does, you’ve protected the people who matter most.
Are you working on the tool, or are you working on the assignment?
Also, I’m curious, when you hear the word "Legacy," do you think of a bank balance or a specific person you want to protect? Let’s chat in the comments. 👇
