As we kick off Latinx Heritage month – the word resiliency comes to my mind. Especially through this
pandemic the amount of hustle and perseverance that I have witness with my Latinx community has
been astounding. I hope together as a community we can realize how much power we actually have and
how much greater it can be if we work together, help, and support each other out, not only online but
through physical actions as well.
Let us use this month to showcase and share our culture, our community, our bond, as well as our
businesses to the world. Let us show them that together we’re more powerful and that together we will
rise!

Al comenzar el mes de la herencia Latinx, me viene a la mente la palabra resiliencia. Especialmente a
través de esta pandemia, la cantidad de ganas y perseverancia que he presenciado con mi comunidad
Latinx ha sido asombrosa. Espero que juntos como comunidad podamos darnos cuenta de cuánto poder
tenemos en realidad y cuánto mejor puede ser si trabajamos juntos, nos ayudamos y apoyamos
mutuamente, no solo en línea de internet sino también a través de acciones físicas.
Usemos este mes para mostrar y compartir nuestra cultura, nuestra comunidad, nuestro vínculo, así

Together we can! Let’s help one another and invest in our communities. Instead of buying from large corporations or easy accessibility such as Amazon. Let’s instead buy from our Latinx Familia! Especially now that the pandemic has cause so much financial uncertainty let’s help our comunidad by buying from them, whether it’s from their food trucks, fruit vendors, flower vendors, small businesses on Instagram, and local mini markets.

I everyone to look around and see what items/products do you have at home that you dont frequently use? Ask yourself whether it was a necessary purchase or not, and of course if it wasn’t then how much money did you spend on it? Now imagine all that money spent from all the items you don’t need being in the bank or in investments generating its own interest back to you.
Before you purchase something always ask yourself first: “IS THIS NECESSARY? WILL I BE FINE WITHOUT IT?” If the answer is YES, then put it away for a rainy day Remember on your . It’s a luxury we should all have whether its small or great sum.

It’s difficult saving each week but every dollar we save is a dollar amounted to our saving to buy security whether it’s a home or emergency funds for a rainy day.

Your FICO score ranges from 300-850 points to allow a credit/loan lender to visualize your aptitude in handling debt. Each of the following categories are weighted individually that helps generate how your credit score will be rated. Therefore, to fix our credit score, we could start with the accounts that hold more weight.
1. Payment History (35%): Rates the timeliness of making your monthly payments or if you have missed any payments during the lifetime of the credit. This category will also show if you have ever been sent to collections. It is important to stay on top of due dates and not miss payments.
2. Level of Debt (30%): How many accounts are you currently in debt to and how much does it sum up to? Once FICO considers these factors it will then divide the sum of debt to the amount of credit you have available. This ratio determines how you are handling money.
3. Time of Credit Life (15%): The longer you have open credit the better the score.
4. Types of Credit Used (10%): Monitors the different categories of credit you have, for example
retail or bank credit cards, auto loans, mortgage loans, personal loans, etc. It is important to
have a variety of different types of credit.
5. New Credit Accounts (10%): If you have opened a lot of new credit in a short amount of time
and recently, this will categorize you as a risky debtor thus, reduce your credit score.

Su puntaje FICO esta calculado entre 300 a 850 puntos para permitir que un prestamista de crédito visualice su aptitud para manejar deudas. Cada una de las siguientes categorías tiene un diferente peso para generar la calificación de su puntaje de crédito. Por lo tanto, para arreglar nuestro puntaje de crédito podríamos comenzar con las categorias que influye mas a su calificación de credito.
1. Historial de pagos (35%): Califica la puntualidad de realizar sus pagos mensuales o si ha falto algún pago durante la vigencia del crédito. Esta categoría también mostrará si alguna vez ha sido enviado a colecciones. Es importante estar al tanto de las fechas de vencimiento y no perder meses de pagos.
2. Nivel de deuda (30%): ¿Con cuántas cuentas está actualmente endeudado y cuánto se suma su deuda total? Una vez que FICO considere estos factores, dividirá la suma de la deuda total en la cantidad de crédito que tiene disponible. Esta proporción determina cómo usted maneja dinero endeudado.
3. Tiempo de vida del crédito (15%): Cuanto más tiempo tenga crédito abierto, mejor será el puntaje.
4.
