There’s a story behind our logo. And it has very little to do with accounting. 💚
I’ve always felt God’s presence in the mountains and among the trees. There’s something about being surrounded by His creation that makes me feel closer to Him.
Standing on top of a mountain is an incredible feeling. The climb was worth it, and the view reminds you how far you’ve come.
But life isn’t always lived on the mountaintop.
There are valleys, too. Seasons of struggle, uncertainty, growth, and loss. Sometimes the path takes us places we never expected.
But no matter where that path leads, the goal should always be the Son. Jesus.
And that’s the meaning behind our logo.
🏔️ The mountains represent life’s highs and lows.
🌿 The winding trail represents our journey through all of it.
☀️ And if you look closely, you’ll notice the trail leads to the sun.
Not by accident. By design.
Because the sun represents the Son—Jesus Christ. No matter what mountains we climb or valleys we walk through, He is who we’re walking toward.
And that brings me to our name, Leading Light.
Matthew 5:16 says:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (KJV)
That verse is the heart behind everything.
We aren’t called to shine so people will see us. We’re called to reflect His light so that, through us, others might see Him.
Through the way we serve, love, extend grace, and show up for others.
Yes, we’re an accounting firm. But my prayer is that people experience something greater when they walk through our doors.
That they feel seen, cared for, encouraged, and leave with a little more clarity and hope.
And that the light we shine helps illuminate the path that leads to Him.
Because it’s not about how brightly we shine. It’s about Who our light points to.
