We are almost in February. That “task” of setting up a trust - still not started... Over the years I’ve heard so many times, “yeah, we gotta do that”. The problem is however, people get overwhelmed with all the other tasks we face, usually the most pressing. Ultimately, year after year the Trust is put on the back burner. It’s human nature. We have too many tasks! However, I cannot stress enough the importance of establishing your Trust. This task is the most pressing. I have a dedicated team member who can help. And when it’s all complete, you can sleep well assured all your assets are protected, medical directives set and all your wishes, should you pass or become unable to, granted. Your Trust is a fundamental part of your assets, and your life. Like this post if interested.

I didn’t have a “man’s best friend” since I was a kid. The last, almost 5 years, our Buddha has been unconditionally loving and by my (our) side non-stop. Yesterday we went on a walk to Averill Park, hiked the trails, barked at squires, quacked at ducks, saw a photo shoot of a quinceanera, played tug-o-war (his favorite thing), practiced tricks and sat under a beautiful blue sky contemplating what the future holds.

Accidents and unexpected injuries can happen to anyone. In a span of 12 months (2019 and 2020) I experienced both. A freak eye injury which nearly blinded me in both eyes, and a kidney stone which required two surgeries landed me into the hospital. I feared kidney damage. I feared blindness. Thankfully I managed to avoid both and made a full recovery. Had I not, I have comprehensive health insurance, and as a back up to my financial security, as well as not placing my family into the position of caring for me, I have Long Term Care insurance. Health Insurance Clients not on Medicare: Open enrollment ends December 31. I will be contacting you early December to discuss renewal. We will also discus options to change plans or plan design.
