Livingston, Louisiana | Temporary, Part-Time (Tax Season)
About the Role
Our accounting firm in Livingston, LA is seeking a temporary administrative assistant to support our team during the busy 2026 tax season. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a client-facing environment. This position is perfect for someone with strong administrative or customer service experience who enjoys a fast-paced, detail-oriented role.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Additional hours may be requested during peak tax-season weeks.
Compensation
Pay: Based on experience (estimated range: $16-$20/hour)
Responsibilities
Answer and forward incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Schedule client appointments and manage the firm calendar
Greet clients upon arrival and assist them with required forms
Scan and organize client documents
Import tax information for return preparation
Assist with monthly client statements and billing
Assemble and prepare client tax return packets for review and signature
Support team members with general office and filing tasks
Qualifications
Required:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Administrative or office experience
Proficiency with general office software (Microsoft Office)
Dependable and able to handle confidential information
